Want to start your own initiative or be an entrepreneur? Struggling to find an innovative idea? Wondering what makes a good idea? In this workshop, you'll hear from Natalie Robinson of Mum's Garage (mumsgarage.com), a company founded for the sole purpose of helping people find their inner creativity and generate innovative ideas! Natalie will talk about her journey of founding Mum's Garage and her passion for helping to create high-performing entrepreneurs. As part of this session, Natalie will also lead us through an ideas generation workshop. Open to all students and staff.

Have an innovative idea and need help with gaining customer insight? Go Innovate! and the ecentre host this workshop on gathering feedback from customers and developing a minimum viable prototype. This is a great workshop to start getting "hands on" with your idea! Open to all students and staff.

Need to start mapping out how your innovative idea will come together? This workshop introduces you to the concept of business modelling, and particularly the "business model canvas". The canvas is a useful tool for visualising your venture or initiative and will help you to envision the next steps and garner support! Open to all students and staff.

The Go Innovate! "feed and feedback" event has become an annual tradition, and we're looking forward to it again this year! If you or your team is thinking of entering an idea into the Go Innovate! competition, this is a great opportunity to gain feedback from business and academic leaders. Plan to give a short and casual pitch that explains your idea and the problem you're solving, and be ready to ask for the resources or information you still need! Open to all staff and students. Ever wanted to learn how to pitch your idea to potential supporters or investors? If so, this is the workshop for you! Go Innovate! and the ecentre sponsors this event to help students and staff learn what is important about pitching and provide key insight into how to do it well.  There are so many times when we have to share ideas, why not learn the right way to do it? Go Innovate! Finals Night: 27 September 2017 17:30 - 19:30 @ WonderRoom
It’s boom time! Your peer and colleagues have been developing their ideas for a few weeks now. During our finals event, the individuals and teams will compete for seed funding, an ecentre development package, and more! Come along to support them, and see who is crowned the winner of this year’s Go Innovate! innovative ideas competition. You also get to help choose the People’s Choice winner! Light snacks and refreshments will be served, so please RSVP.
